I had forgot about the Corsa. I do recall that the turbo models were decent performers for what they were at the time. I recall all the Corvair owners I knew would be very angry about the oil leaks. The oil didn’t leak and drip to the ground, it leaked and the fan would blow it all over the rear end bumper and below.

Well, the oil leak on my Corvair did not bother me as much as the "knocking" sound of the valve lifters.. thus my "adjustments" once a week! LOL
In retrospect, had I not "totalled" the car, I would probably have kept it - it would be a nice "project" cars nowadays....

When I was young and single,I owned two Porsche911's. Both were '71, "T" models..met my future wife in one of them and that was that. Wish I still had them.
Excellent cars with scary trailing throttle over-steer. I drove mine at Laguna Seca during a PCA Parade around the course. Porsche , especially older ones make you a better driver.
That was when Mark Donohue drove a 917 at the track

I had a 911S (1967 model year) when I lived in Switzerland, before I moved to the U.S. That car was so "noisy" that I never wanted to have another one as long as I live! But, at that age, I got those type of cars out of my system...if you met your wife in one of them, could she actually hear you, what you were saying, while driving it? LOL....

Since the Reliant Robin was mentioned, I have to share a portion of one of my favorite episodes of Top Gear:

That is hillarious Mars!

That bunch of people could be a "focus" group on these shores evaluating the vehicle... LOL Or a group of "engineers" on Consumer Reports testing track in Yonkers, NY?...LOL
Finally, this site is becoming really funny!!! Keep them coming!

Wrong! I suggest you dust off your 4th grade School Geography... I am looking at Bricklin's Yugo America Inc., Upper Saddle Rivver, NJ window sticker of one of the Yugos from August 1985 where it states the country of manufacture: Yugoslavia.

I am also looking at Dec. 20, 1989 N.J. Bankruptcy records, where it shows bankruptcy filing of Yugo America Inc. - importer of Yugoslavian cars Yugo.

Why all these entities do not show Serbian made Yugos but rather Yugoslavian made Yugos? I am lost....haha
