I saw an older Impreza Outback Sport for sale today. Not sure which generation, but it had a (non-functional) hood-scoop.
I'm currently driving a 2005 Outback XT, but I keep looking at the WRX 5-door / wagon. It seems to me I'd buy an WRX "Outback Sport" in a heartbeat, if they made such a thing. -- |

The closest thing to a WRX Outback Sport would have been the old Forester XT, though I don't know if that car had sport suspension or not.

dunno, someone will though.
up to 05, WRX turbo-wagons were 2.0L, 06 and 07 are 2.5L wagons, they went to the hatchback in 08. I'm sure there have been folks that did WRX and even STi swaps into OBSes. cars101.com will probably have details
