Today I got my oil changed at express oil change and after they were finished they told me I was good to go. After about ten minutes of driving my hood flew up on me going about 50mph. Luckily I just came out of a huge blind turn and was on a straight away, if it flew up on the turn I could have drove off a small cliff. When I went back to express the manager watched the video and the employee didn't check to make sure the hood was closed. Ill post pictures when I get them on my computer

One more reason to do routine maintenance at home.
Did they say they were going to take care of it?

Let the lube shop insurance company take care of you. This is a good reason to DIY.

Not that it matters now, but the hinge on your cars safety latch must be extremely stiff. These hoods aren't exactly light and it should have clicked onto the safety latch under it's own weight.

that'll buff right out.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . seriously, glad you're OK. everything else can be taken care of. You might want to let your insurance company know - in case subrogation comes into play down the line.
