The owner is one of our newest members here, prjct lancaster.

Looks very strange. I don't like it cause it's not practical and strips the OB of it's essence.
I can understand why one might want to lower a 3rd Gen OB...the body is a little more aggresive looking. But with the 2nd Gen, the only difference is the body cladding, which I personally don't really like (even on my car) so...why not start with a Legacy?

But, to each his own. Who am I to judge what other people do with their money and their toys?

Looks ok. It's well done, almost looks stock honestly.

I have to agree with FMGreen though. Lowering is just not for me, and I think you'd be better of lowering an '05 GT than an outback, but I also agree that you should do whatever you want/like to your car. It's your car eh?

Wow an Outback that scrapes on shopping centre speed bumps, Mmm definitely not to my liking. Seroiusly, to me it looks like the suspension has dropped due to some sort of failure, but I'm not a fan of lowering cars at all. I want a car that goes wherever I point it without having to pick up the parts that got scraped off

Thumbs up

I like it, I personally think it makes the car look better especially when he has those 18's on it. It dpeends what your doing with your car though, if its just gonna be driven on the highway everyday, then why the **** not. I was planning on lowering my Outback, but soon enough it will be the winter so no reason to. It seems very original and clean to me.

i like it.... but lets not scare off a fellow outback owner shoot then he will be stuck over and NABISCO with all the same old gripe... lol! maybe thats why no one said anything to me on this post... POST best nothing said then something bad right...

but you will soon hate mine too as soon as a TEIN Flex Coilovers come in from japan. These have adjustable height (dampening and spring rate) so it can actually ride at a stock legacy height or slamed to the ground like his... though i won't be going that low.

i don't know about prjct lancasters outback but legacys don't come in a H6, LSD and other suspentions mods that legacys don't have... think about that one... mines a H6 thats proabaly the only reason why i bought an outback.

also check out where hes located and i'm located.. not much snow or dirt here unlike you guys in NY, MT, WA and Australia.

and like NorthStar said

I think it looks too Legacy instead of the out of town off road look that attracted me to the OB.

high offroad on 16's or 17's with some nokian snow tires!

Very cool.
