Ha! Definitely lame!

I just spent the day riding around in my buddy's 1990 300ZX. A great car that is still a blast to drive after all these years. I guess if I really wanted a Z it would be the 1970 240Z. Just about the most fun I ever had with my clothes on!

yes, i likes the 240Z, 280z and all the way up to 300ZX.... Never a big fan of the new 350/370Z.....
My personal favorite were the 300ZX were the Twin turbo...and for some reason, I like the 300ZX convertible (yes, I know, it's a ladies car!!)

Corvette is really a different league....they are in the GTR league....

My next door neighbor's son has a 370Z. Very refined car. I loved the rev matching for downshifts for about the first two or three times I tried it, then got tired of it and began looking for ways to turn it off. I still believe in "driving" a car.

You are correct about the Corvette being a different car. I also own a Z06 and can truly say it's hard to beat good old American muscle cars. It's an exhilarating experience to romp down on it in 1st and 2nd gear. After several years of ownership it still slaps a silly grin on my face whenever I drive it.
I agree with you, my vote would be for the early years of Z's, up to the 300. I haven't driven a twin turbo, but certainly wouldn't pass up the chance if one came along.

My dad had a 1991 300zx TT 5-speed that I drove quite often. Absolute blast to drive and when it was all clean it still turned heads. Hard to find good examples of those any more and I can only imagine what some basic modifications would do.

The adjustable suspension was pretty fun too. Great car all around.
