2011 3.6 Outbacks are impossible to find in the Midwest. But a local Subaru dealer now has a 3.6 Limited w Navigation and Sunroof. It was used as a rental car starting in June 2010. It has 24,600 miles on it. Dealer is asking $29,000. Reasonable or run away?

Lot higher than I would pay for a car with 24k miles.

I really loathe when people abuse rental cars. I'd spent thousands repairing damage to ex-rentals.

Thanks. I DID run away. Beyond it being a rental, the dealer's website listed milage at 16,600. The CarFax report listed it at 24,400! I drew their attention to this
Next day, dealer correct milage on their site, but the price remained the same. Dealer claimed "Clerical error, the price was all along based on 24,400." Whatever. Gives new meaning to "One Price Dealer." If not shady, it appeared shady. Another reason to run away, foreever, from that dealer.
