Nice thread btw!
Thanks! They're on my long list of things to get.

Today I added a little bit of leathery goodness, courtesy of one awesome Forester XT owner.

Showing that the 4EAT is good for fun, too.

Fast forward a couple days.... My car is still on the rack at Sheehy Subaru because of a few mistakes on their part. The other news is, I'm moving cross country today! The computer is packed, so I'm on my cell now. Hopefully they get it finished before we roll out today!

just where does that ballpark sit for such an "ultra-expensive" intake? because it looks very nice.

Ben..
Sorry, I haven't been on here in a while. Things have been crazy. Time for updates!

Here it is... like I said... mad tyte and ultra-expensive. And JDM, so it adds like, eleventy billion horsepower.

Seriously though....

TOTAL COST: $16.54 and about an hour of my precious time. The last few tanks of gas have averaged 28-30mpg mixed city/highway since I've been good. When you romp on it it drops to 24-25-ish. Has a bit more grunt than it used to, at least on the low end. Most people say that you should keep the 'torque box' that the air filter resides in, so that what I designed it around.

I also plasti-dipped the engine caps. The yellow annoyed me... still need to do the radiator cap.

Also, the new shocks/struts/springs are AWESOME. This thing handles like a slot car now. This was right before I said good bye to it... my parents are borrowing it until October. It had about 600lbs of stuff in the back when this was taken.

When it gets home, there will be a pile of goodies waiting for it. So far I've got a set of Hella's, a sheet of aluminum for a skidplate, and some steel for a lightbar. An OEM 6 disc changer from a Forester is on it's way as well, since my Outback one has a bad display.

And, I've been bored... I'm working on a T-Shirt design to match my Forester one.

Oh, and I just dropped some cash on some more goodies. Pics to come when they arrive

This is great stuff... it is coming out very nice.

Do you mind sharing what steps you took to clean out the interior? I think you did a very nice job in doing that.

I'm OCD when it comes to car interiors...

DO WANT!

I checked three junkyards today for this... no dice!

The Forester leather shift is much nicer than the OB leather shift. $96 vs $46 new...

There's also a WTB classified forum if you'd like to make a request... that's how I got mine. Very friendly folks.
