I tried cleaning my dirty cargo tray with a tire brush and some warm soapy water but after it dried it still appeared dirty (or stained). Anybody know a better way to clean the cargo tray?
I just had the normal mud and water that dried there before i was able to take it out and clean it. It just seems that I cant totally get rid of the dirt stains.
yeah - something about this material depending on how you clean it - not entirely unlike the Weather Tech floor mats - sometimes you scrub it brush and soap and all and it still leaves discoloration after it dries in spots. I have noticed this as well and I think with my last Outback's cargo tray.
After cleaning, I apply Meguiar's M40 which leaves a deeper black color. I order it by the gallon since it is also an excellent wipe on treatment for the tires after washing. You can order here:
