Default Warm Air Intake WAI

Anyone ever tried this in an OB? I am looking to improve fuel economy, but it goes contrary to what I think about, especially since I am looking at doing a CAI next weekend.

The the WAI Bashing (or praising) begin.

First time I've heard of a WAI. Would it be a SRI (short ram intake)?

Yeah, all I really know is on the Wikipedia page. A bit of an explanation on how it would work? Still can't really think it would be more fuel efficient.

You acheive better fuel economy from the CAI kit since colder air is more dense. My old pickup always seems to run better when it's a little colder, but I haven't had the same experience with the outback. The only thing you have to watch out for when doing a short ram or CAI, is that yes they will add some power and fuel economy because they are less restrictive. If you are like me, the fuel economy gets cancelled out because you rod on it more because you like the sound. Same thing for headers and cat back exhaust.
