Looking at the $95 and $129 products in the RallyArmor website, I think the latter ones are longer.

Compare this image with this one.

The first image is from the Legacy Classic Mud Flaps Black Logo, the second from the Urethane Rally Mud Flaps.

I think the latter and more expensive ones are longer. I'm tempted to get the grey logo ones for my silver 2008 XT.
Oh wow, it looks like you might be right. Its at least worth calling them, they could tell you if they are indeed longer; it would be really nice if they were. Not sure how I feel about the "shiny-ness" of the poly-u ones, but I could overlook that if they are longer. I don't think those were offered when I got mine.

Lightbulb Rallyarmour contacted

I have sent Rallyarmour a message telling them about 'our theory' and asking for measurements.

Thumbs up The reply!

Thank you for your inquiry. The Legacy UR applications mounting is indeed "longer"/closer to the ground than our earlier "Classic" series.

To note, one of the key features of our new UR application is the inclusion of Outback specific mounting points as noted in our instructions:

http://www.rallyarmor.com/store/lega...structions.pdf

In addition, the UR setup differences goes beyond the finish- its construction allows it to remain flexible in a variety of extreme temperatures, yet flex when needed to conform to any environment.

Oh good find. Not surprised that they were quick getting back to you; I found that they were nice to deal with.

I'm pretty stoked that there is now a longer version; I want them!

No, not the red ones. The black ones, with grey writing.

The car is dark grey.

I can't image red on here:

1/2 Off-Topic, but

1st, I love my Rally Armor flaps. They.ve taken a lot of punishment and rea;;y stand up well.

2nd, (OT coming) What's up with people blacking out license plates. Do people really spend time worrying about the possibility that someone would run their tag and come to their house to steal their car or accessories? Just truly wondering.

Cheers all!

Have I mentioned how much i wish they made a set for the 2000-04 Outbacks?

2003 Outback wagon: "Kaylee". 144,000 and counting.
Basics: Quaker State Ultimate Durability 5W30, PureOne oil filter, Fram air filter, Valvoline Maxlife Dex/Merc ATF, Mobil 1 75W90, Michelin Primacy MXV4.
Mods: 2004 Forester XT shift knob, Fumoto oil drain valve, Phillips VisionPlus low beams, Phillips HIR1 high beam upgrade, Nokya Hyper Yellow 2500K fog lights.

Also: More rust than I care to think about.
