Question Center Console cigarette outlet replacement?

Hey guys, so I have a 2006 Subaru Legacy Outback 2.5i...
My armrest/center console glove box has an AU port/cigarette outlet, and one day I unplugged my phone charger and it took the whole metal shell of the outlet out with my charger. It just broke out, and now there is a small round hole that you can see inside the glove box where my outlet used to sit inside of. How the heck do I take the paneling off of the armrest glovebox to fix it all together again? Thanks!

Here is a PDF with instructions. Assuming your 2006 is like my 2008, you remove the parking brake cover by pulling/gently prying straight up and then unscrew the two screws on the bottom of the center console box and pry up the front edge, undoing the clips there. The lighter socket twists out counter clockwise.

Set the Wayback machine to the year 2000 Sherman... when Little Red was problem free.
