Red Line Goods ebrake boot and armrest cover

Just finished installing the Red Line Goods ebrake boot and armrest cover on the 2005 XT. Anyone thinking about doing this, I would highly recommend. Installation was pretty easy and it makes a big difference when coming from old worn out boots and covers. Good quality.

It does look pretty good - and I note from Red Line's website that it's made from genuine leather, not plastic. Any opinions on what might be expected for the durability of the cover material on the console? Factory materials seem to puncture pretty easily; that's been discussed here occasionally.
