My drivers side fog light lens got shattered around Christmas and I've been looking for a replacement assembly since. I got on the web and ordered aftermarket assemblies ("Replacement" brand) for both sides not wanting one to look different from the other. I was soon informed the left (drivers) side was out of stock. I told them I would take the right side now and wait for the left side to be back-ordered. About a week later, I got a notice of refund for the left unit. Called the merchant (US Auto Parts) and was told they did not have an expected restocking date. Ordered same Replacement part number from another on-line merchant (JC Whitney). Same deal. Notice of "out of stock", yes I'll wait, then a refund notice a few days later.
Are these "Replacement" fog lights an extinct species? In fact, I have not been able to find ANY aftermarket left side fog light assembly from ANY manufacturer.

no problem, you might check some junkyards too. Those would probably 'match' the look/wear of your rigthand side fog.

With as many as r replaced every winter . I'm not surprised a shortage . A body shop I deal with has has 3 Subaru I know of in with damage from snow and the like .
I checked my local replacement generic parts supplier said could get in a day from their suplier. Go to body shop or check yellow pages. Get On eBay there r some large reputable suppliers on there . I got mine at Erica's car light store $89 |
