Hey thats my car!
I had the same problem and built myself a new intake for $25 at Lowes. 2000-2004 Outback 2.5 Cold-air-intake DIY I think you'll end up paying about the same for the parts from the dealer, but who knows if they have it in stock. |

My intake is currently heavily duct taped just past that area due to a crack. If it causes a CEL or my MPG gets affected, I'll probably follow phatvw's thread and just make a new one.
But so far Kaylee is running fine. MPG as ever and no CEL.
