Default Outback and bed liner spray

So I have been looking around for pics of others who have used bed liner spray on various pieces parts on their Outback's and there are practically none. So over the next week or two I will be painting my whole front bumper, rocker panel covers and the rear bumper...part under the line. I also have pics of my latest set of headlights...which I am looking to possibly sell.

A little bit more about my car...its a 2000, just over 120k miles and aside from the front bumper looking like poop is in excellent condition. Reason I decided to do all of this was where my foglights mounted it was getting really rusty so one thing lead to another and I am here. Tomorrow is the go day for painting. I was going to use Duplicolor bed liner spray but decided to stick with what I know works best...Rustoleum bed liner spray.

Also my goal is to replace my current grill, which has been painted with duplicolor bumper paint...which did not hold up, with a grill from a Legacy.

It's on my "eventually...if my wife won't kill me" list.

Street parking has taken a toll on my bumpers.

Well lets just say that I had wanted to paint all the titanium colored pieces parts with that stuff...but my wife just about lost it and well what I am doing now is our compromise. Maybe you could go that route...

If you're gonna slather it with that thick, ripply stuff, you could've traded me front bumper skins. Maybe even rears. I bet mine would look fine hidden behind that thick stuff. Yours sure look nicer than mine do right now.

Some updates...so far everything is going well. However I did run into 3 issues. First one rain...if it looks like it is going to but the weather map shows otherwise...plan on it. A rogue rain drop hit where I was painting and well now I have to re-tape my whole rear bumper again tomorrow to sand out that one spot because paint did not stick as it should have. Also when taping it off...I at first did it by sight and the other half used an exacto knife...needless to say where I used the knife the cut is clean. So having to retape and repaint wont be a bad thing. Second thing...dont get to close because this paint will run...the Rustoleum stuff. Also...if it looks wet...dont re-coat till you see some of the grit come through. This will make sure the finish is uniform. Third thing...check underneath the nozle for paint accumulation...I had a drip land on my rocker covers...but it leveled out. Otherwise all is well. Getting ready to paint the front bumper now...pics below.
