Default HELP! Front tow cap?

Hi..

Hoping someone can steer me in the right direction.
Long story short, I got into an accident (with an animal) and lost the TOW HOOK CAP on the front bumper - in addition to cracking both sides of my LH fog light housing and LH fog light.

My 'net searches have only lead to the sites selling the entire front bumper cover.
I called a dealership and they're asking $79 + paint.

Does anyone know where I can find a TOW CAP cover, in 'titanium pearl' (if in fact it's the proper name of the part)? Just trying to avoid replacing the entire bumper cover.

Thanks in advance,

D.
Ontario, CANADA

PS. just glad it wasn't a deer

First of all, welcome to subaruoutback.org! Thanks for checking us out, sorry it's under these circumstances.

Good luck finding one. Our gallery is littered with pictures of OBs missing that piece.
Try a local or nearby junkyard, and if they don't have one, ask if they have any friends who they could call.

Try www.subarugenuineparts.com . Check their OEM parts catalog. It can be a pain to search through, but just about every part on a Subaru can be found there.

It seems crazy to me that they would need to paint that tow point cover, cause that part has been made in the exact same colors for as long as it has existed.

Anyway, if you drill down in the OEM catalog, the part is under:

Front Bumper, Bumper and Components, Bumper Cover, Cover

22 bucks, and I am assuming that is unpainted.

This link should work to get you to the part:

Golly, I lost that piece the first WEEK I had the car. I never even bothered to replace it. It wouldn't look so bad if the white styrophoam underneath was blacked out.

Ah yes I remember now. There is a tight fitting part just under the bumper in the skirt which pops out and exposes the bracket. He's right though its not in the bumper its below the bumper in the skirt.
