Default 2007 Engine Light and Cruise Light

Just this evening when I went to start the car it started fine but there were 2 lights that remained on. The Engine Light(steady) and the Cruise Light(blinking). I tried calling the dealer but it was too late and they are closed for today.

Anyone have this happen before?

It's a 2007 Outback 2.5i with almost 20000kms.

I hope it's safe to drive as I have to.

Cheers
Todd

Your under warrenty. Take it to the dealer, as it can be a number of things.

Just remmeber, never ignore a flashing CEL, a steady one means it has to addressed soon, flashing means now.

Weird...went out just a while ago and all is back to normal. I think the dash is screwed. I've been having issues with the tach and gas gauge as well.

Cheers on the flashing CEL thing. I never knew that one.

Read your owners manual

Just because the lights are out doesnt mean there isnt a code stored there. Have the dealer read the codes.

And get that dash looked at

Good luck.

I have the same car as you and the warning lights just do that occasionally. When you take it to the dealer, they can't even find a trouble code. My light has always gone out a day or so later.
