Also my lights are coming ON immediately when I start the car and when I turn off they turn off also. If anyone can give me some advice I will appreciate it a lot |

An airbag light that is permanently on is not good. If you're a do it yourself sort then you might check for obvious wiring problems. I had problems with an airbag in a ford and it cost over 2K to get it fixed

Thanks for the reply Juan,
I still have 30 days warranty from the dealership. I presume they need to fix it. I hope they will fix it right. I just read that the light need to stop 7 seconds after I start the car. One more question. I'm not sure that are this 2 devices are for? Or i need to post question in different category in this forum? |

The first picture is the tilt handle, pull it down and you can tilt the wheel up and down... Second is your cruise. If I recall correctly, there's a separate cruise button under your far left vent, make sure that's on before trying to set the cruise.
With the airbag, that could be anything from an airbag sensor (shock sensor that senses the accident) to a fuse to some faulty wiring to the airbag actually expiring (believe it or not, they do...). Sounds like it's one of those things you gotta leave to the dealer, sadly... |

Thank you Petraman,
Tomorrow I'm going back to the dealer for the airbag issue. Also thank you explaining about tilt handle and cruise control. I will check them today. Ilike this forum. Is so helpful |

So, what you're seeing just means that your headlight switch is in the ON position. Did you receive a manual with this car? With the exception of the airbag light, all of your questions should be answered within. And even without the manual, it sounds like the dealer just handed you the keys and sent you on your way. Very poor customer service; my dealership spent about half an hour going over various things on my car when I bought it (used). I didn't really need all of it, but it showed that they care.

Thanks dakboy,
Strange, Seems that I can't switch this headlights off at all when when the car is running. When i start the car, the lights are ON, no matter if the position is OFF or ON. I only noticed that when they on half brightness when the position of the switch if OFF. I'm confused. Is this mean that the lights will be permanently ON(even on half brightness), when the car is running? |

You have dyalight running lights. If you pull up the parlking brake they will go off. Headlights are always on at 1/2 power unless you turn on the headlights.
Get the owners manual and sit down and read it from cover to cover. It will answer all your questions. nipper |

YOu have a few choices
Ebay The Dealer www.cars101.com has a ton of info http://www.subaru.com/common/faq/index.jsp#4 YOu can order it from subaru directly if they still have them in stock. A few things to alert you too. All 4 tires MUST match on the car, otherwise you can damage the AWD. Tming belt must be changed at 106,000 miles, not 107,000. Change your tranny fluid every 3 years 36,000 miles if its an auto, and your sooby will love you for it. nipper |
