Awrrr gearbox diff problem... :)

My old man have subaru legacy outback 2.5 manual 2002 (LHD).

Lately, he managed to break down REAR (on the rear of gearbox) differential (visco clutch?) - anyway, the "box where rear axles coming out".

Gearbox number is 32000AF170

visco clutch number 38913AA100

At most I will need visco clutch.

My question is - where to look for it? because those bits are very hard to find... Or, is there any replacement, from another subaru?

I should mention that, gearbox also have a reductor.

So what your saying is the rear differential, that powers the rear wheels, has failed?

Or are you talking about the differnential inside the manual gear box?

What is your location, that will help us direct you for parts.

I'm abroad mate... Europe.

But I dont mind "internet shopping..."

my mistake about what died - gearbox is in two parts:

1 - proper gearbox
2 - and the diff box between front and rear wheels, on the rear of the gearbox - and that is what failed...
