The instructions say to install it vertically for best performance, but I couldn't install mine and still clear the skid plate. So Someone here might be willing to try it. I'm yet to see a problem by installing it horizontal. I Might be losing some performance but meh.
Anywho, When it stops raining here I'll change my oil and get some pictures of this for you guys. |

Well, my review of the block heater isn't going to happen.
I installed the block heater yesterday, bleed the system of air, then last night I plugged the block heater in to test it out. It was working very well, if I turned the key on and then the heater fan it would blow warm air (it was 0c outside). Pleased I unplugged it, connected a timer and left it for the night expecting a warm car in the morning. Went out this morning, notta, block heater is cold as well as the engine. I removed the timer and tried again, nothing. Looks like it burnt out but I don't know why. It seemed to be circulating when I tested it last night. Must have been air trapped in the system. Hope I can return it.... |
