I am putting the finishing touches on my engine rebuild, 1998 2.5 DOHC and was just wondering how far do you install the cam seals. Flush doesnt seem enough so I went a little further but how do I know when they are in enough? Do they actually 'bottom' out when they are in enough? With not much force they are now below flush about 1/8 inch, should this be ok? When I say flush I am refering to the outer most part of the casting in the head/cam bearing.

I am pretty sure they are bottomed out, just didnt know how much pressure to put on them. My concern was if they were bottomed out would they block the small oil passages? If bottoming them out is good then I am all set, thanks.
