I'm getting this rhythmic sound that occurs only when turning. It's kind of a low "wub wub wub" sound and seems to increase with speed. Sounds like it's coming from the front end.
Had the tires replaced (was past due anyway) and it didn't change. I found that I have a torn outer CV boot. I've never heard a noise like this from an axle or CV joint, but could that be it? What else could it be? Bearings? '02 Outback 2.5L, 135,000 miles. |

wheel bearing.
if it makes the noise more when turning right it is probably your front left. more when turning left it is probably your front right. |
