passenger door lock

Can someone help me out, I have 2006 subaru outback. the drivers side door control works just fine, but the passenger door lock does not operate in any direction lock or unlock. does anyone know what this problem could be. thank you all very much ...

There's a small motor in the latch mechanism that turns to activate and deactivate the locking mechanism (actuator). There have been some cases of the motors not running.

The motors run for about 2 seconds to complete the action. When the keyless entry control button is pressed, you can hear the actuators working. Do you hear anything at the passenger door.

Do all the other doors, (rear passenger doors and the rear gate) lock and unlock as they should.
