Post PCV valve location on a Outback 2010

Hi,
I know there is a lot of threads on PCV valve location, but it looks like the 2010 is different.
Can someone identify the location and how to remove the PCV valve on an Outback 2010 manual. Pictures would help.
Thanks.

Hi Cardoc,
Good question. I have a 2.5
I am used to change it on the Forester 2003, but it is not the same on the 2010.
Can you be more specific with "its in the block".
Thanks.

Sometimes the old fashioned way is better. Finding no help in subaruoutback.org forum or anywhere else on Al Gore's Information Superhighway, I asked the Subaru Parts counter to print an exploded view drawing for me (attached) when I went to pick up my special ordered PCV valve for my 2010 OBW 2.5i.

Pic of new PCV attached as well.

PCV was VERY easy to replace* once I had the exploded view and could see where it's located. No need for a step by step DIY. Just have a small 5/8" conventional hose clamp handy if you, like me, have no pliers for clic hose clamps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjujzEywNCs I can never get 'em back on with pliers or dykes. To get the clic hose clamp off, insert small flat blade screw driver in the slot on the side of the clamp and rotate.

* When I came back in the house and told my wife it was real easy,
wife said, "how come I heard you yell the F word real loud"
I replied, "how many times?"
"once"
"That's right, like I said it was real easy."

Do you need to remove the airbox & tube to get to it? I looked for it while changing plugs last Saturday but couldn't find it. I also thought about cleaning the throttle body and IACV but didn't have replacement gaskets. I did hear the TB has a reusable o-ring but didn't want to chance it until knowing 100%.

You have to remove the airbox and tube to get to the PCV or even see it. It came apart and went together without any O rings falling off so I don't remember any O rings.
