If you recognize this part-out, please post in this thread instead of my old thread.

The car was in a front end collision with a trailer hitch. The airbags did not deploy. It has ~191,000 miles on it. Please let me know if you have needs. I am located in northeast CT and will welcome pickups. I will ship items that aren't too big.

I will be adding stuff to this list as I inventory it.

98legacyoutback98, I sent you a PM. Code Monkey, I'll see what I have tomorrow. I probably have some of those bolts, but they're no doubt in a tangle of other bolts. I'll check tomorrow...I wouldn't ask money for them and flat rate packet shipping would probably be $5 or something.

Also, eagleeye, thanks for closing up my old thread with that post. :) I would have thanked you on there but I didn't want to bring it back to the top.

It would have been better if you did it, and you still can.

so you opened the thread and the last entry is yours too,...just copy my print and I will delete mine. (font size on the link is 6, and I think it is all in bold)

It would just suck if the mods marked it closed without a map to this thread.

I know someone that did that with a leased chevy.

got estimate from body shop, for the bumper cover of a 2.5 year old car,...shocked.

I suggested he go back and ask them if they could tape the old one together, and make it look OK. Which is what they did. (fancy tape, a little plastic sealing stuff, and some air brushed paint)

Insurance company paid for the new bumper though.

No it was not expected to last forever....although it might have, ...it just had to last 4 more months. ...and then off to the dealer for another.

Maybe you fix yours with tape, on the inside, a couple gawdy bumper stickers on the outside...maybe sell it for ad space.

babiker: I do have the fuel pump. $25 for it. It's still in the car, I'll try to get it out tomorrow. $20 for the HVAC surround. I'll check on the condition of the windshield reservoir cap, power steering reservoir and hose tomorrow...and the only extra cost is whatever that adds to shipping. Heated seat switches are also free.

$45+shipping for all of the above. I'll get pictures for you tomorrow if you're interested.

After doing the PS R&R I should not need those hoses or the reservoir, I would still be interested in the other items mentioned. I'll communicate here rather than on NASIOC. I do for sure want the fuel pump and other items though. Too bad you aren't local, I'd take the hatch and your front seats! All that junk should fit nicely in a flat rate shipping box

Still have the rear garnish for the tailgate?

Big red plastic piece that goes across the hatch, covers the reverse lights.

Sorry, that's gone.

Okay, I'll get back to you asap!

I am curious, how much would it cost to have you ship the Heated seat switches to me, if they are still available & free...???
Heat switches are already dibs-ed. Tibug, I assume flat rate box will be around $10, no rush on shipping. To be clear for the fuel pump, I want the whole housing not just the pump itself. I just want a spare to R&R the common o-ring problem in case I crack the cap in the process

someone, ...

might update their post #1 on this thread, denoting that as a fact.

and your junk yard dog that watches these autoparts sent me a text,

she does not think the umpa lumpa costume is scary enough to actually chase away thieves,...but does not know how to tell you, and recommends you get a doberman or a rottweiler,...less someone steal your subaru parts with the dodge pickup.

#26 ·
kind of just wanted to post the dog pic.:wink2:

just hope you keep everything locked up. I know a few mechanics, one works on snowmobiles and had his garage broken into at 2am and the cops did not show up until 7am, even though he called them at 2am and live a 1.5 miles away from the state police barracks. (as no agency could spare the personnel for a property crime at the particular time).

at least you are not selling 1990s honda accord or civic stuff,...or the bad guys would have been there already. (sometimes whole honda bodys get stolen out of front yards, running or not, by rings coming from 100 miles away who read a ad.)

although lucky for all of us few respectable thieves, would be interested in outback legacy stuff.

This dog?

I guess I had her in one of my pictures, didn't I.

Locked up? LOL.
I guess this dog is bigger and tougher then the one I pictured.

i hope she knows that these expensive car parts are not toys:

and she does not drink all your beer.

Driveshaft free (trade for a 6-pack??? IDC)

because of this tiny slit in the center slide joint. It does leak grease, which I wiped away to find the slit. It doesn't leak profusely and could probably be used indefinitely as is.
