Default Parting out 98 OBW 30th anniversary edition

pics are here:

https://picasaweb.google.com/1035040...eat=directlink

Picked this up locally for a few pieces I need to put together another 98 Limited. Unfortunately I didn't notice until I got home the anniversary edition has a different shade of tape/cladding on the bottom of the doors, so the two pieces I need (both right side doors) are useless to me unless I paint them, which I'm not keen on.

If you happen to have a pair of right doors on a "regular" Limited in black mica pearl, I'd love to talk to you. Wanna trade for anything?

Anyway, engine is gone, it's been hit hard right front, and a lighter hit left rear. Not many useable body parts aside from the doors, which I'm on the fence on whether or not I'll use them (mine are just rusty at the bottom corner).

Does have an allegedly good 70k mile JDM auto trans and most other driveline components, and a set of JDM one-piece projector headlamp/marker lamp assy's, although neither are in the greatest of shape (top mounting tabs broke off the right side one). I'll probably wind up keeping those as I hate selling broken parts via the internet, but if someone really wanted them, we'll talk. Only other set I've ever seen was on eBay with a $250 price tag.

Front seats are spoken for but I do have another (less nice) set if you wanted a complete leather interior. Pretty much everything else is fair game. Crossbars are there, rear spoiler is there, rear tonneau (luggage compt) cover is there.

I'm pretty reasonable with small parts provided they don't devalue larger parts (i.e. if you wanted just the driver's door window switch trim I'd get fussy. . .prefer to sell the set of 4 or maybe even the whole set of leather door panels).

I ship FedEx or USPS, if you need a larger part, please include your zip and if I'm shipping to a residential or commercial address as Fedex does charge more for residential delivery. . . but they're still cheaper than most anyone else.

Acceptable forms of payment include: paypal (yuck, Dwolla (love them), mail me a cashier's check, money order, cashier's check, or well-concealed cash if you're feeling lucky, and in a pinch I can run a CC through my work. The accountant gets a little fussy about that, tho.

Beyond that, post your needs here, or pm/email me if you have questions. In the event more than one person wants the same part, right of first refusal goes to the earliest post.

Cheers,

Ben

Hi SecretMachine,

Sorry, that's the only other thing I'm calling dibs on. Need the only good fog lamp for another car I'm putting together. Mucho apologies.

Hi,

I do have those parts but in woodgrain (the full set). Saw your post in another thread needing those. . . pity, I threw a set out a couple of months ago. I'll keep my eyes peeled for some next time I'm scouring the yards. Radio bezels are hard to come by in the junkyards tho. . . they get broken a lot.

$30 + shipping (no more than $10). Assume by the 'upper vent' part, you want the piece that snaps in above the heater controls that has 2 vents and the hazard switch?

How much for the radio shipped to 45002?, also did this car have the sub under the seat or the rear mount tweeters? May also be interested in the leather shift nob how much for it?

Is this Paint code 4T5 ( Deep Sapphire blue) ?

It does have the rear mount tweeters. You'll need the whole D pillar trim if you want to swap those in properly. . . How much of the harness do you want? Snip it at each speaker (easy and cheap) or pare it out of the liftgate harness down to the taillamp (slightly harder but still pretty cheap) or the whole body harness up to the driver's footwell (a lot harder and not cheap. . . but worth it if you wanted to do something like add heated seats/mirrors/windshield de-icer)?

Radio is the silver-trimmed cd/cassette combo that thus far I've only seen in GT/Limiteds. $50 takes it.

Paint code is 8E3, it's the black that has gold/reddish metallic flakes in it. Really pretty color. . always been a fan :-).

Leather shift knob: $15 if added in with something else, 20 shipped all by its lonesome.

Ben, I'm hunting a full set of seat belts (black/dark anthracite) for the wife's '97 Legacy OBW.
