Default WTB Vehicle Speed Sensor. (First Gen OB)

Hey guys, Im in desperate need of a VSS for my '97 SLOB 5 speed

Its the only one on the manuals (not including ABS sensors) located on the RF top of the tranny. the AT's have multiple and I dont know if they will work or not.

HERE.

This site has a good write up with great pictures if you need a visual. just scroll past all the dash stuff.

LINK HERE.

THANKS IN ADVANCE...

That one doesn't look right, mxmike. If the one he needs is the same one indicated in the link he provided above, I'm pretty sure it threads in and has a little flat tab on it that is driven by one of the axles.

EDIT:

yeah, more like this:

I *think* the auto trans units from OB's are the same, or at least very similar. I might have one, have to check. Only 5 speed tranny I have right now is from a 97 Impreza which was still rockin' the cable drive speedos.

To bad its not a 98. That shows the part number I need. and of course that applies to the same vintage fozzies
