I might have one. AT or MT? 2000-2001 should be the same. 2002 used different config on cam/crank triggers.

I seem to get a lot of "will xx fit in my car?" emails. . . I'm not the authority on everything Subaru, so I very well may tell you the wrong answer as there's nobody else to check me. Please search or ask via the forums first. . .when I answer you via email, it never gets posted and nobody else can confirm or refute my answer.

Auto... I thought I lucked out the other day at the jy when I found an 02, but like you said, they made some changes from 01 to 02. If yours will work, how much are you wanting out of it.
May be a few days before I can jump on this as I'm outa town till wednesday. Just let me know before then the $$ and serial #'s if you can. Thanks!!

98 won't work. .. 4 cam motor.

I checked. . .don't have one. I just sold a 2000 AT outback to a local friend who has the intention of parting it. I'll pass you his # via pm.

You can use an 02 ECU, but you'll have to change the LH cam and crank sprockets to run it. . .and run an 02 intake. Different IAC valve.
