Saturn Aura was also named the COTY a few years back, and we all know how well that car (and company) did.

I really think Volt deserve the title. Fitst of it's kind. Gm just have to make sure it has so-so reliability (Like the earlier Priius, insight, civic hybrid...etc). This thing will transform the landscape of all Car in the (near) future.... Kudos to GM on taking on this head-on....
None of the German automaker, Toyota, Honda, etc.. dare to even try....
I also think Volt will be more successful than Nissan Leaf as the Leaf is 100% electric and No gas engine at all.... AT least of the first few years, Consumer will prefer gas/electric combo until (sole)electric engine proves itself.

Default Long term test

Insideline has added the Volt to their long term fleet. Read the blog for their 1/2 yr. experience with it.
