Default WTB Media Hub parts?

I want just the little plug in the glove box to create my own hub. Can this piece be bought?

i have the control box if you want to purchase it , you just plug in a usb cable and route it where you want

Are you talking about the aux pod?

(pic from cars101.com)
That should be available as a replacement part. A dealer's parts department will be able to look up the part number and Subaru's name for it.

pop out old one, pop in new one, plug in the aux, plug in usb wire to you radio.

done. this all after you get the trim off.

Im guessing getting the trim off is going to be a PITA huh?

Where did you put it after you you connected everything? in your glove box? are you able to change the songs on the ipod via the steering wheel?



I just really want to be able to plug in my ipod and charge it while playing it! also...would i be able to have my ipod plugged in AND have my phone plugged into the AUX and use my phone(pandora radio). so i wouldnt have to dig into the glove box and disconnect the ipod? make sense?
