Question OB2004 intermittent white noise and high volume from front right speaker

Hi,
I've been searching the forums, but haven't really found any hints, so now I just post it.

I have a European OB2004 (Gen 3) with a Kenwood gx-201le headunit.
Attached to the head unit is RF360-2, connected to AMP which feeds the 2 front speakers and subwoofer.

The problem I have is that now and then, the volume on the front right speaker suddenly raises, and there is very clear white noise audible, when I switch of the audio the white noise stays. Also the sound of the SATNAV is very loud.
Just as sudden as it appears it fades out and audio is restored to normal, no more white noise and normal volume.

I've been playing around with the RF360-2, if I switch to aux in on the RF360-2 the noise is gone, which makes me at least suspect the HU.
If I switch off the front right speaker when the problem is there there is still faded audio on the other speakers.

I've played around with switching varying functions in the car, lights, HVAC, electric chairs etc, nothing is actually influencing this symptom.

The only thing that seems to be related is that it appears to occur more when its colder, and moist, but I can't really prove it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If I missed info that I should have supplied, please let me know !

I've not heard of that directly but I know RF had alot of issues with the 360 when it debuted a few years ago. I would start by swapping the speaker wires at the amp from left to right just to see if the sound follows to find out if it's at the amp or before it and slowly work backward until you find the culprit. It's odd and I would guess you'll have to work through each component to find the culprit.
