As trucks wear larger and larger shoes, 16" offerings may soon start to dwindle at the expense of larger ones but as of right now, 16" wheels seem best for off-pavement duty. I looked at 15" tire options in relevant sizes, not nearly as good as 16" (for IV gen OB).
Some people buy wheels for looks... Hence the desire for a 17" wheel.

If these came in a 17" I'd buy them now

Not at this time but it seems Method likes the feedback we're getting here on the Subaru forums about these wheels so who knows, maybe they'll start building some options.

That picture XT is the same color and year and mine. I think they look good buy a little undersized on the 3rd gen outback because the wheel well appears so large. I would buy these in a heart beat when they come in a 17" it'll fill the wheel well perfectly. I've always been a fan of methods on Toyotas they are the beat looking out there second only to Hutchinsons

Those wheels aren't made for their looks. It's all about something tough enough to survive rally. A 17" and the tire on it wouldn't last long in that environment.

Which begs the question if they can make a 16" that can clear the brakes of all 2015+ OBs as well as of earlier H6 models.
