Default 99 Outback/Baja Spring Swap

I have a 99 Outback and wanting to lift it i want to go with one of two things one is to buy 05 baja springs and just swap out the springs and thats that but i heard that only gives about 1.5" lift or i was thinking about getting spacers and put them on but i dont know much about how the spacers work and what all i have to do for the spacers. ill take any info i can get

Also: more rust than I care to think about.

thanks now theres three ways lol i want the most easest way and cheapest way to do it but in the very first post you can really tell a difference in the back sagging alot so idk which way i want to go now thanks for the link

Sorry, but pretty sure Baja springs won't work with first gen outbacks. I would stick with forester suspension, you might get a little higher lift too.

no 05 baja spring will fit the 99 outback i seen a few links on here where they have already done it with 05 springs i just want to see which is easier and cheaper from just swapping springs out or getting spacers specially made
