2013 Impreza Remote Engine Starter - Subaru Outback

I just placed my order for a 2013 Impreza Sport Premium.

However, I had done my research over the last month or so against Subaru's 2012 site, since they only just this week updated it to include the 2013 info -- I was shocked to see they dropped support for the Remote Engine Starter, and the dealer couldn't add that option either.

Anyone know why this is or have suggestions?

Don't know why, but they dropped it mid year 2012.

The dealer said if the part was available from Subaru I could order it and they could install it...but the only part I see from Subaru is the 2012 remote.

FYI...they said they could get one for my new 13 XV Crosstrek...so who knows!

From your dealer or the factory? A stock one or aftermarket?

I e-mailed Subaru and they said they have it.
