Default Got me a Subaru! Sort of...

My first Subaru was a 1998 Legacy wagon, a right hand drive postal vehicle that truly made my job easier. While everyone else in my post office delivered mail, using their own car, sitting on the passenger side and had a left hand and leg stretched across the seat, I was doing my job much more efficeintly. In addition, having the largest route in the office, everyone, including me, was amazed by the amount of mail I was able to cram into that little sucker! Ha!! Then when we'd get snow, and gee, I never got stuck, no matter now much of the white stuff was plowed up against the mailboxes...but everyone else did! With over 600 stops every day, five days a week, the only thing I had to replace was tires and brakes. That. Car. Was. The. Best. After getting a govt-issued vehicle (which I despise) about four years ago, I sold my RHD to another postal worker and I've wanted another Subaru ever since.

Last month, my dream came true. Thank gawd my hubby liked the 2014 Outback enough to buy it for himself! I am jealous, tho. I need our Honda Odyssey to transport my three Newfoundland dogs, as necessary, so that's technically "my" car. So, I only get to drive the Outback when he's not using it, so that kind of stinks. But I'm SO happy to have it! And I look forward to driving it Every. Chance. I. Get.
