Model: Outback Wagon
Year: 2000
Engine: EJ25 Manual Trans
Miles: 178k

Caught this early, no overheating occurred, it started with a slow external leakage of both oil & coolant on our garage floor. Heads are at the machine shop getting a once over & pressure test as I write this...

Subaru Model: Legacy Outback Wagon
Year: 1997
Engine Size: 2.5L Auto
Miles at Failure: 86,600 and 129,950

Car recently overheated, took it in today to get a coolant flush, and shop discovered the right head gaskets were leaking. Gaskets blew first time with previous owner at 86,600mi and then engine blew 2 months later. New short block installed, and now with me as the owner, they've gone again.

Subaru Model: Outback
Year: 2002
Engine Size: 2.5 L
Miles: 50,000
(Driver's side. Subaru dealer added coolant conditioner which had no effect. Replacement covered under warranty)
