Default All seasons for 2010 OB

So I have a 2010 OB running 225/60 17's on its feet.

Im having a hellava time trying to find some good tires. I was looking at the GY Fortera TT they wont fit... I went to a tire dealer, he said that I was VERY limited on my choice of tires. Good year assurances would work if i didnt good off road, so the fortera would be perfect. But not my size

Closest they got in the fortera TT is 235/60/17. Would these fit??

The driving I do is 60-70% highway, 20% off road(sometimes REALLY off road) and 10-20% street. Up to the mountains in the winter time 2-3 times monthly.

I live in Oregon, so 8 months out of the year is rain and in the mountains its heavy snow.

Can someone help me out here!! Different rims is not an option.

I looked for someone else asking about this but I couldnt find jack.!

In my opinion only 10 more in "cross section" is no problem.
Perfect for snow, wider.....

I don't see why they wouldn't fit. There is less than 1/2" difference both ways. The next tire I want is the Geolander A/T-S. Tire rack says they have it in the 225/60 R 17.

If you're encountering heavy snow for many months out of the year, I think it's time for you to look into getting a quality winter tire.

Go find yourself some cheap 16" wheels and install winter tires.

Good luck.

I wouldn't say your options are too terribly limited, with Tire Rack listing 46 different tires available in that size.

Some of them are pretty highly regarded around here, and if you search on their names you will turn up quite a few threads with owner options. Tires such as the..

General Altimax

GoodYear Triple Tread

and Yokohama Geolander A/T-S

If you are truly leaving the pavement often, the Yokohama Geolanders are probably your best choice. This thread might be of interest to you if you want to consider them..

I wouldn't think so, but I also don't have a 2011. Like '05 Outback2.5i said, if your leaving the pavement I wood look into the A/T-S and they even come in your stock size.

GoodYear Triple Tread

GY TT definitely come in that size. Just got the exact same tires for wife minivan and this exactly the same size and spee rating as 2010 OB. and yes, GY TT is day and night difference from OEM tires.
