Altimax RT/Hancook H727

Anyone have good first hand experience with either the Altimax RTs or Hancook Optimo H727?

I'm looking at 205/70-15s on a budget. I was planning on going Yokohama A/T-s, but they are more expensive and I'll probably take a bit of a hit on mileage.

My driving is not too crazy, with some gravel-road excursions. I see limited snow here in TN, but I still want a winter-capable tire if I have to move to a colder climate.

I am leaning to the H727 as it seems to have better overall ratings on Tirerack, especially compared to cold-weather driving.

A bit off-topic as they're installed on my '08 Corolla. Anyway, I bought Hankook Optimo H727s in December mostly based on Consumer Reports rating and then backed up by TireRack feedback. These tires are the best I've ever had. I drive 35K per year in this car, been through OEM Goodyears, and Cooper HS4. The Hankook have blown me away, they excel in dry, wet and were incredible in ice and snow. I'm in eastern PA, and I thought of getting winter tires due to that under 45 degree pliability thing. But the Hankooks seem to have that factored in, I drove through snow and slush that I never would have attempted before. They were $84 each incl. lifetime rotate/balance out the door. 100K warranty to boot. I can't wait to get them for my OB, as they make a 98T rating for it.
