Front passenger tire was flat when I got up this morning. Goodyear TripleTread. Not sure yet what the cause was. Looks like I drove on it a tad w/o knowing it was flat, or very nearly flat anyway (oops). Hopefully I didn't ruin it... /sigh Replacing all 4 again would be rediculously expensive. I need to get another 75k out of 'em yet.
Come to think of it, I did notice steering was a bit "off" when making my U-turn to park last night. Must have been the tire. I'm getting it fixed at lunch today & will post an update. BTW - the included jack is well greased, and operates with finger effort pretty easily, but the angled pole thingie doesn't turn very well when you're at an angle - my street slopes pretty well into the curb & trying to use it w/o it being straight on caused it to bind repeatedly. Since I was at home, I just grabbed the 2 ton jack from the garage & used that instead. The included nut wrench works fine though - gets a good grab on the nut and you can break them free by stepping on it fairly easily. The spare is also a pretty good tire. Streets to work are all 25mph so I didn't give it much of a test, but it's quiet and the car sits level (it's full sized OD compared to stock tires). I remember the donut on my Honda caused the whole **** car to lean to that corner. I'll post an update on driving at speed after lunch too (yea, yea, I know - don't exceed 50mph).
