Default 225/75/15 on a 99outback ????

I got a chance to buy a set of 225/75-15 Pirelli Scorpion AT. Its compleatly stock. Will they fit???

If your stock tire size is 205/70/15 like my '97 then they are far too big. They might fit but they are 7.6% too big and 3% is the recommended limit. Your speedo would read almost 5mph too slow also.tire size calculator

Go take a look at the clearance between your rear tires and rear strut.
You can look up the size of that tire at the manufacturer website.
I'd be astonished if it fit.

They are now offering a 205/70 15 now I would suggest those instead. I am trying to find out if any one is running them, and how they like them. The other ones sound like they would likely be to big even with a lift kit.
