Default LOL - Impreza lost WAY back on a 4wd Jeep road.....

"A Subaru Impreza owner attempted to race down a challenging rocky path in Miner's Gulch, Colo., only to discover you can't actually drive a lightly, spray-paint modified as if it were a Jeep."

Off-road Impreza goes for the tow of its life

Did he even lift that thing? Wow, that was hilariously painful.

Not smart, but if you follow the details a bit he failed mostly for want of even a crude skid plate under the motor. Having years ago gone offroading in an AMC Gremlin 2WD, I can attest that if you take a few measures and are willing to sacrifice a bit of damage to successful passage, many vehicles can go where nobody would ever dream and the makers surely never intended.

Don't cry too hard, as I suspect that car was a beater long before it hit the woods.

Yeah, apparently he is "known" for his antics..

The Impreza is gone.

If you'll notice, they have an entire off-topic section devoted to him...

More than anything, I'm annoyed that he just dumped the car on a trail getting oil all over the trail after dragging it over rocks with a jeep.

Another looser looking to become a 'Reality TV' star? LOL!

If you're going to take a Subaru, at least take one that has a chance...

Agreed!

I've been poking around on the Colorado 4x4 forums and "so far" it hasn't turned into an anti-Subaru thing. All the anger and frustration is pointed at that guy.

But, still, to everyone else who doesn't hit the trails, it looks like the off-road folks just don't care or respect the environment, history, etc..

This guy is dumb to just leave the wreck out there. I've taken my Subaru across rivers, ponds, mud pits, and the like. I've never gotten it stuck out there before, but if I did I'd at least figure a way to get it out and clean up the mess...

The tow is hilarious, the jeep is dragging him in gear.
What an idiot.
I hope that car goes to the junkyard.
