Default modded skiplate for Borla header!

yeppers! I finally got my front Primitive skidplate cut out /fitted/welded for my Borla header! only took 7months to get it done since I was so busy !!! (wheelin)

I can have my cake(mud) and eat it too! without damage!!! Wahoo! I will post pics soon!

sorry bout the delay I've been really insanely busy ....Alki beach cruise....buying a new house!!!

so here's a couple of pics of the finished skid plate. I have yet to mount it due to the stump damage(lower radiator support) I did wheelin without ....doh! I will have it fixed soon!

These are top and bottom views of the Primitive skidplate I cut out to clear the Borla header and fabricated the other pieces and had them welded in place.

Nice work. Let us know how it goes on. I'm still waiting to hear back (again) from Primitive on front skidplates for 05/06. I need it!

did you have any troubles with overheating with the skid plate on?

no cooling problems...it won't affect it..headers cool very fast unlike factory pipes

Hey Scooby! Reviving this ole' thread because I just ran into the exact problem. Unfortunately for me though, is that since I live so remote, it''s probably going to be a while before I get the same thing done to my plate. Unless I find a good aluminum welder here or find another solution.
