Question Going to Michigan in May

Taking a 97 outback but I wonder about how many times would I need to fill up? it's about 648 miles where I'm going one way.. I was guessing around maybe 3 1/2 times?

I'm not sure how much you can get from the tank with the 2.5 motor

Depending on where you set your cruise control you should be getting 26-28 MPG. Could make just shy of 400 miles per tank in the old 1996 with cruise set at 60-65.

I'd have to slow my speed down kinda hard to do in he Ny area but when I hit PA I can do that.. Most of the time I tend to drive around 70ish.

And I'm not going to the U.P area as far as I know for now.

If you're coming up from Ohio, it's usually cheaper to buy gas in Toledo before crossing into Michigan. I'll have to check on Easter.

stop by Tony Packo in Toledo for some hot dogs if you're(were) a M.A.S.H fan.

gas is $4.29 in Michigan right now. It was noticeably cheaper in Ohio, try to top it off there before you get to the Mitten. What are you doing in Michigan?
