Another basic DIY that I had trouble finding for my '02, so I'll share what I did. I did this after getting a P1507 code indicating an idle control malfunction. The IACV can cost hundreds, but cleaning can correct the issue. I will report back with results.
Hope this helps fellow knewbs!
Tools:
Flathead screwdriver
10mm socket or wrench
Materials;
SeaFoam, CRC Throttle Body Cleaner, or similar
Clean rags or paper towels
Find the IACV (part w/ the blue sticker), unplug the cable, and remove two screws. Here the cable & screws are removed, but IACV is still in place;

The IACV should pull right out. This one is very dirty;

Completely saturate and blast the thing with carb cleaner, wipe clean, and it will look like this. I also cleaned the area from where I removed the valve;

Next you need to get at the intake of the throttle body by removing the air filter box. Remove the two 10mm bolts (red arrows), two hoses (green arrows) and the hose clamp around the intake (blue arrow). The box should come out easily;

Where you just removed the hose clamp is the intake of the throttle body. The access isn't great, but blast in there with the cleaner and wipe out all the liquid along with the black/carbon junk. Should look like this when you are done;

Let the IACV and throttle body air dry for 15+ minutes and re-assemble in reverse. (Make sure throughout the process no debris has entered the throttle body or IACV opening.) Double check your work and start her up. My wagon hesitated a bit at start up, but subsequent starts have been perfect.
::crosses fingers for no P1507 return::
