Am I the only one that thought the SNL Digital Short, "I'm on a boat" was funny?
I thought it was an excellent parody of songs that say nothing.
Here's a variety of options to see it.
If you're at work or in earshot of children, be mindful of which link you select from the list. A couple of them are the uncensored version. :7: |

funny,
i don't like that type of "music" but, apparently a lot of people do because they make millions releasing the same song over and over and over.
i saw a spot for a dance music compilation the other night, what was funny was you couldn't easily tell when one stopped and the other began, they all had the same drum machine track on them. i can understand that in a dance club because noone really cares what they're saying. if you find deep meaning in that type of music, it says something about the the depth of your personality ;]
music doesn't always have to be deep, meaningful or original but, to me most of that stuff is like reading a series of books where all they change is the title. |

I saw it and I thought it was funny. I actual have a copy of their CD, Yes, they have a CD. they are The Lonley Island. The first one I saw was 'Lazy Sunday' about going to see Chronical's of Narnia. and then there was D**k in a box w/ justin timberlake, also worth a listen if you want to laugh for a few minutes.
It kinda reminds me of what Adam Sandler was doing 15 years ago with Lunchlady Land (Sloppy Joe's). |
