The box keeps items bone-dry (when I remember to close it)

Previous Outbacks had issues with the spoiler on an open hatch interfering with cargo boxes. How is it with the new Outback? Any problems with the hatch hitting the box or having to set the box far forward to avoid this?

Great photo! and I am glad to hear about the oem tires; I suspected they would be adequate for snow along with awd, but it is nice to have some real world confirmation.

Nice pic of the subie under snow. Haven't gotten any snow yet in WV, but hopeful. Just bought a 2009 OBW 2.5i Limited and love it so far. Wanted a 2010 but couldn't make the deal, so got an '09 model. Awesome cars, eh?
