Subaru Crosstrek and WRX Earn Top Safety Honors

The Subaru Crosstrek and WRX have both earned IIHS Top Safety Pick+ awards.

Both models have been redesigned for the 2018 model year, and both qualify for the top award from IIHS when equipped with optional front crash prevention and specific headlights. In addition to earning good crashworthiness ratings across the board, the Crosstrek’s optional front crash prevention earns a superior rating. In IIHS track tests at 12 mph and 25 mph, a Crosstrek equipped with Subaru’s EyeSight system avoided collisions. It also has a forward collision warning system that meets NHTSA criteria.

And that's a photo of Nissan's Titan.

2015 2.5i Limited Standard Key
  • leaked a quart of oil
  • Cracked windshield for no reason
  • had to replace engine (fixed 1qt oil leak)
  • car randomly won't start
  • heated seats barely warm up
  • automatic tailgate is unreliable
  • replaced 2 batteries
  • many service campaigns
  • much less mpg than advertised
  • the list goes on and on

Please don't buy the 5th gen Outback.
