Wheel Molding JDM E2017AL000 vs USDM E201SAL000

I might be the first one who purchased the JDM Legacy wheel molding part#E2017AL000 and waiting for the arrival here to the USA.

I wanted to know if anyone has done the install yet and does it fit?

USDM seems like a 1pc per wheel set compared to JDM.

I'll keep you posted on the install!

Here are some pictures of what I was able to find

I'll be watching this thread. I like how the JDM / Euro moulding covers the entire flat part of the wheel arch area.

How much and where did you find them?

You ordered it from Japan without knowing if it will fit? That's faith! :-) It does look nice though.

amazon japan has it on their site for 59,400 yen, which at current exchange rates is $515 US dollar. pricey!

google "E2017AL000" and a few hits will show up.

$100 is for the four pieces of plastic. The other $400 is for quality control to ensure accurate fit and freedom from cosmetic blemishes and material defects.

Then there must be less quality control for other accessories because bsm, window visors, splash guards, etc. don't cost $500.

To each his own. I'm sure I've spent money on things others feel is a waste.

I think I'd rather have 20-some cases of Boston Lager.

2015 Outback 2.5i Limited FDF/PP4 - no nav, no moonroof, no keyless, no Eyesight
Parts left out cost nothing and create no service problems - Bunkie Knudsen
It's love that makes a Subaru, not necessarily a logical user experience.
