Question, when my phone messages come in they are displayed with a time stamp in military time. Is there a way to change this to am/pm time?

On a light colored Outback, like my Tungsten, it makes the car look sleeker and higher off the road (less of a "boxy SUV look").

I’ve heard the fobs are big. Not a fan of large fobs. I appreciate your and effort to answe.

Thanks a bunch.

Not standard on any trim, you need to have the dealer install it (either at purchase or later).

Doesn't the remote start on the OB turn off when you open the door to get in? If so, this is completely stupid. My 2009 G6 would stay on, put the key in, and drive away. I find it strange that it would shut off and you then need to start the engine again.

It is increasing security by increasing annoyance a little. Otherwise, this is possible: you press the remote start, and somebody hops in and takes off. Or somebody presses your remote start secretly, goes over to your car, hops in, and takes off. I would rather have the car shut off when the door opens. I have had two friends get their cars stolen by letting their car warmup in their driveway.

Yes, maybe. But, my previous car still needed the key in the ignition to depart. So, not sure why this is the process here.

Just hit 6000 and by a country mile the best car I have ever owned. I have owned quite a few cars in my life.

Jake, you don’t understand how remote start works. If I use my remote start and while car is running somebody tries to hop in they’ll find the door locked. If the break through the door and get in the engine dies and they’re in the same situation if they broke into my car parked without engine running. Same thing if someone secretly presses my remote start. They would need to steal my key fob to get in and drive off. Doesn’t matter if motor is running. Your two friends who had their vehicles stolen while they were warming up went out, manually started their vehicles and then went back inside...what I used to do to my ‘55 Buick Century convertible back when nobody stole cars.
