any speakers without high pass crossovers?

ive purchased a kicker hideaway under seat powered subwoofer for my 2015 outback touring non nav. i am curious if its possible to tap into the rear speakers without the need for a line output convertor.

Mod: possible title change, this could be confusing if someone ends up off topic. "Any speakers getting full-range signal in '15 Outback" or something...

OP: Does the woofer you bought have "high level" or "speaker level" inputs on it? Most stuff like that would, but it's worth double checking. If it does, you can just tap the harnesses and run them into that. It's the design for those connectors. I don't see any speakers in these vehicles getting high-passed at the amplifier, so you'd likely get a full range signal anywhere you tapped in. On some of the higher end gear there's equalization built into the amplifiers, but if you tapped into and had a system like that, just tapping off the subwoofer signal would be the best bet anyway.

Kenwood DMX7704S + iDataLink Maestro, Stock H/K speakers and amplifier, JL 12W6v3 HO Wedge, JL XD1000/5v2 adding some kick. (Not hooked up yet: Hertz Energy component speakers)

what model Kicker?

If it has the feature, the correct way to do it will be to disconnect the rear speakers entirely to plug into the Kicker.

Looks interesting. Let us know how you like it once it's installed.

It has high and low level inputs so just tap into a set of speaker leads and have fun!

Amazon says it should arrive between the 12th and the 31st, but i definitely will! i went this route because i didnt want to take up any space in the vehicle, not having to use a line ouput convertor just makes the job a little more convenient and cheaper! im going to use t taps or posi taps so i dont have to splice any wires. im also going to try using velcro tape to secure it instead of drilling the sub into the vehicle, that way i can pull it out from under the seat whenever i dont have any rear passengers.

Thats fine, but don't skimp on the groundwire, or its terminal. And definitely fuse the 12V back to the battery up at the engine. Chased alot of friends systems lately with gremlins, fixed with better grounding...
